Copper State Forge has partnered with chef and creator Corre Larkin on two limited-edition, vintage-inspired skillets — pieces as beautiful to display as they are to cook with. One is forged from carbon steel, the other in tin-lined copper, and both are built on our signature 10" hybrid shape with a striking handle Corre designed herself.
For this first edition, only 50 copper skillets and 350 carbon steel skillets are available for presale. Each one is hand-forged in Goodyear, Arizona — proudly American made. Read the whole story below.
Copper Tin Lined Skillet
Corre's design is inspired by the blacksmith-forged handles of 18th- and 19th-century Italy and France—this skillet brings that timeless, hand-worn form to the warm, gleaming beauty of copper. Tin-lined and built on our signature 10” hybrid shape, it delivers the responsive, even heat that’s made copper the choice of professional kitchens for centuries. Copper excels at delicate, precise cooking—gentle sauces and custards, melting and reducing, sautéing vegetables, acidic foods and sauces, and anything that rewards quick, controlled changes in temperature.

Carbon Steel Skillet
Inspired by the vintage cookware Corre Larkin has cooked with her whole life, the handle she designed for this skillet reimagines that timeless, hand-worn form for the way real cooks hold, lift, and pour. This carbon steel skillet excels at high-heat searing, crisping skin on chicken and fish, building a natural nonstick surface for eggs, and moving straight from stovetop to oven.

The Story
We spend a fair amount of time on the interwebs watching how real people actually cook. Not the perfectly staged stuff — the honest pans hitting the stove, the weeknight scrambles, the happy experiments that turn out better than expected. That’s how we stumbled across Corre Larkin and her Instagram channel @cocolarkincooks. Her first reel stopped me cold. Here was someone making real French cuisine in a way that looked… doable. Even for me. No fussy techniques that make you feel like you need a culinary degree just to turn on the burner. Just good food, clearly explained, made in pans that get used and loved. I messaged Tristan and said, “We need to send her a pan.” So we did. What started as a simple “We love what you’re doing," message turned into a genuine collaboration.
Corre's cooking — approachable, flavorful, and deeply French without the intimidation — pairs perfectly with our pans. These are pans built for exactly the kind of cooking she does: high heat searing, gentle simmering, easy transitions from stove to oven in cookware that is meant to be part of the art and joy of cooking. So we did a thing.
